This portrait is part of my urban series, but they hold something more. They were made by request, from people in Praia de Mira (Portugal) who wanted to honor loved ones who are no longer here. Painting these faces was a special experience. They’re not just images, but memories, moments, and presence. A way to keep someone close, even when they’re gone.
I feel thankful that my art could help tell their story.
